TYPES OF CONSTRUCTION LICENSES

• MINOR WORKS LICENSE

• MAJOR WORKS LICENSE

MINOR WORKS LICENSE

Any work with a low budget and magnitude, which does not involve an increase in the volume of the building, and does not affect the structure or the change in living conditions (painting, changing flooring, tiling, replacing sanitary ware, etc.).

MAJOR WORKS LICENSE

• New construction. When it involves an increase in volume and/or surface area, such as any new construction, or any renovation that involves an extension of the existing construction.

• Renovation that affects the structure. For example, removal of load-bearing walls, creation of openings in the façade, removal of pillars, etc.

• Change in living conditions. Any work that modifies Decree 145-1997 20-2007. “HABITABILITY CONDITIONS”.
